2011 Memorial Marathon Gift to Memorial & Museum

Race participants, volunteers, sponsors, and Memorial Trustees gathered on the Survivor Tree promontory as race founders Thomas Hill and Chet Collier announced the largest gift to the Memorial & Museum from the Marathon! The 2011 Memorial Marathon donated $850,000 to the Memorial & Museum and the event was broadcast live on KFOR Oklahoma's NewsChannel4, the Marathon's media sponsor. The Oklahoma City Memorial Marathon has contributed more than $3,000,000 over the past 11 years. The privately owned and operated Oklahoma City National Memorial & Museum is the sole beneficiary of Oklahoma City Memorial Marathon event proceeds.
