Voices of Hope To the People of Oslo, Norway
To the people of Oslo, we are sending our deepest sympathy today as you begin to cope with the loss and the aftermath of this horrible act of domestic terrorism. Please know that in the days ahead, the people of Oklahoma City and those impacted by the bombing here now more than 16 years ago, have walked in your shoes and will be there to help you as you begin to recover.
It is our hope that we can share with you Lessons Learned from the Oklahoma City bombing and how the people of our city united to help heal and cope to later find resilience and hope. In the coming days, we will send Voices of Hope your way, care packages of items that brought comfort, strength, peace and hope to those who lost their children, friends and family.
We will stand with you in your darkest hours and do what we can to help you. It is our mission to educate about the prevention of home-grown terrorism, wherever it may occur, and the mitigation of its effects using the Lessons Learned from the Oklahoma City bombing.

Voices of Hope
- Click Here to let Norway know you care. Building upon the immense feedback received after our recent message to Oslo, we’d like to expand the role of our Facebook wall to serve as a forum for individuals to share condolences and prayers. To this end, we’re converting our page to a portal where anyone can submit words of hope for the people of Norway, and the Memorial & Museum will make sure they get delivered.
July 27th
Norwegian Broadcasting toured the Memorial & Museum and interviewed survivors, family members and rescue workers to gain perspective of the recovery from the April 19, 1995, bombing to share with the people of Norway.
