Heritage Hall Students Photograph Outdoor Symbolic Memorial

Heritage Hall teacher Luke Steelman brought his digital photography students to the Memorial today for the unique experience of taking photos at a place where tragedy was transformed to hope. Director of Video Tony Stizza talked with the students on the Outdoor Symbolic Memorial, and shared insights and techniques to help them enhance the quality of their images. “He did an amazing job of helping my students realize the considerations that make the difference between a run-of-the-mill snapshot and a truly engaging, interesting photograph,” said Steelman. “We strive to teach the value of service and compassion for others; there is no better place for me to teach those values integrated with my digital photography curriculum than at the Oklahoma City National Memorial.”
