Lessons of Respect, Resilience, & Responsibility
Today’s youth face many challenges, such as bullying, violence and terrorism. By teaching about the Oklahoma City bombing and the 9/11 attacks, educators can help their students learn that any obstacle or tragedy can be overcome, as well as important life lessons -- that choices have consequences, that violence does not solve problems or effect change, and that each of us must do our part to make the world a better place.
