National Security and A National Role Model

September 07, 2011
By Sanford Coats, U.S. Attorney for the Western District of Oklahoma
As we look back over the past decade, U.S. Attorney for the Western District of Oklahoma Sanford Coats takes us back to the largest act of domestic terrorism on American soil and shares some lessons learned that have helped us over this past decade. We are appreciative of so many public servants who lost so much in the tragedy in Oklahoma City and then on September 11th. While dealing with their own loss, they have had to move forward to ensure that justice is served and that even those accused have a fair trial. The people in the U.S. Attorney Office in Oklahoma City are an excellent model of those who served while dealing with a tragedy at their own door step.
