Governor Fallin Remembers the 101st Day in Office...
The Oklahoma City national Memorial Museum has more than 350 oral histories recorded from family members, survivors, rescue leaders or people in leadership position on April 19, 1995 or the days that followed. The story of how people responded and how people have dealt with this tragedy to find hope today is one of remarkable resilience told throughout the Memorial Museum.
Last week, we were able to sit down with Governor Mary Fallin, who on April 19, 1995, was in her 101st day as the Lt. Governor of Oklahoma. She reflects back on that fateful day and how far we have come as a state since. Listen to a few outtakes from a remarkable journey.
