TCU Students See Behind the Scenes at Memorial Museum

Dr. Ron Pitcock and Honors students in his Cultural Memory in the US class at Texas Christian University made their annual visit to the Oklahoma City National Memorial & Museum today. Students study the origins and representations of American memory and travel to important sites of memory. Their day began with an Archives Tour, followed by a ranger talk on the Outdoor Symbolic Memorial and a Museum tour. First Person speakers Rev. Wendy Lambert, Sara Sweet and Mary Mowdy provided an afternoon program, and Outdoor Symbolic Memorial designers Hans and Torrey Butzer discussed the design process on an evening tour.
