We Honor the Men and Women Who Serve

This Veteran's Day, we honor all the men and women who have served this country. Thank you to all the veterans and their families who have selflessly given so much to protect the freedoms we enjoy today. We pay special tribute to the veterans who were killed in the April 19, 1995, bombing of the Alfred P. Murrah Federal Building.

We remember your sacrifice for our country.

Each year, the Oklahoma City National Memorial & Museum hosts groups of retired military for reunions, is the site of reenlistment ceremonies and flies U.S. flags as part of retirement ceremonies for active-duty military from all branches of service. We place an American flag in front of 38 chairs in the Field of Empty Chairs to remember these veterans as well as under the Survivor Wall, in honor of the survivors and rescue workers who have served our country. We salute the veterans, and thank you for your service.
