Three Trustees Retire From Memorial Governing Board

Three Trustees served in their final Memorial Trustee Board Meeting this week. Dave Lopez, Don Smitherman and John Wendling have served on the Memorial Trustee Board for the past six years. “Their contributions have been significant and we are so grateful for their service to making this a better place,” said Kari Watkins, Executive Director. “Our Board of Trustees help us meet our challenges and set the policies that guide this historical site of remembrance and education and help ensure that it will be around for generations to come. Dave, Don and John have contributed significantly to our mission.” Here their story as they reflect back on their service on the Oklahoma City National Memorial & Museum Board of Trustees.
