Memorial National Advisory Board Member Cathy Keating Inducted to Oklahoma Hall of Fame

Memorial & Museum National Advisory Board Member and former first lady of Oklahoma Cathy Keating will be inducted into the 2011 Oklahoma Hall of Fame Thursday, November 17th, at the Cox Convention Center in downtown Oklahoma City. This is the 84th year the Oklahoma Heritage Association will award the state's highest honor. Joining Mrs. Keating in the 2011 Class of Honorees is General Tommy Franks, Harold Hamm, Marquis Haynes, Steve Malcolm, Roger Miller and Elizabeth Warren.

The Keatings had been in the Governor's office just 100 days on April 19, 1995, when the Alfred P. Murrah Federal Building was bombed in downtown Oklahoma City. It was through their leadership and guidance that the state and city began to rebuild and move forward. Mrs. Keating has been active in the Memorial & Museum efforts over the past 17 years.
