SNU School for Children Win Kids Marathon Award

Ryan Free from The Oklahoman, Kids Marathon Presenting Sponsor, and Scott Hines from KFOR NewsChannel 4, Marathon TV Sponsor, presented the SNU School for Children with The Oklahoman Kids Marathon Fitness Challenge Award for the highest percentage of participation in the 2011 race. This is the third year in a row that SNU has won the traveling trophy and $500 for their school. The school has 62% of their student body run the Kids Marathon. In 2012, two school awards will be presented, one for the highest percentage of participation and one for the highest number of total participants.
