NRHA Presents Memorial with Hometown Heroes Slide Contribution

The National Reining Horse Association presented the Oklahoma City National Memorial & Museum a contribution of $8,975. The donation represents proceeds from the Hometown Heroes Slide held last month. The event was a friendly competition between firefighters and police who rode a modified slide pattern on some of the world's best reining horses. These horse riding heroes were also some of Oklahoma City's heroes in the hours, days and weeks following the April 19, 1995, bombing.
