Museum Turns 11 Today!

February 20, 2012

Today, on President’s Day, we celebrate the 11th year of the Oklahoma City National Memorial & Museum. More than 2.2 million people have come through this Museum and learned the story of the April 19, 1995, bombing of the Alfred P. Murrah Federal Building. They leave with a sense of hope and an understanding of the resilience it has taken to rebuild Oklahoma City to where it is today.

11 years ago today, President and Mrs. George W. Bush were here to dedicate the Museum and open the doors to what hosted visitors last year from 75 countries and all 50 states.

If you have not taken the time to tour the Memorial Museum, spend a couple of hours in the Museum today or sometime soon. We would love to see you!
