A Conversation with Dr. Michael Berenbaum

April 17, 2012
Dr. Michael Berenbaum spoke in the Center for Education & Outreach about the importance of documenting our stories. Dr. Berenbaum, who is a writer, lecturer, teacher and museum development consultant, contributed to the conceptual design of the Oklahoma City Memorial Museum and the U.S. Holocaust Memorial Museum in Washington, DC. "Our goal in oral history is to personalize an event," said Berenbaum, "Catastrophe does not get the final word - we try to overwhelm it with life, and love."
