Educator Workshop: The Economic & Financial Impact of the Oklahoma City Bombing

Wednesday, September 19
9:00am - 4:00pm

Attention Economic & History Teachers!

The Oklahoma Council on Economic Education and the Oklahoma City National Memorial & Museum are partnering to offer the first ever teacher training workshop that will focus on the economic and financial impact of the 1995 bombing of the Alfred P. Murrah Federal Building.

Learn firsthand how Oklahoma City was rebuilt after the bombing and how it continues to be transformed today. Suggested activities and lesson plans will be shared to help teach your students the financial impact violence and terrorism can have on a community and how they begin to rebuild after such a tragedy.
