Firefighters Climb to Raise Funds for Memorial & Museum

Over 140 firefighting men and women from 48 Oklahoma and Kansas fire stations climbed 110 flights of stairs in the First National Center today. Dozens of 9/11 Memorial Stair Climb events were held around the country today to honor of the 343 firefighters killed on 9/11. Organized by OKC firefighter Joe Russell, the Oklahoma 9/11 Memorial Stair Climb raised funds for the Oklahoma City National Memorial & Museum. Oklahoma City Fire Chief and Memorial Trustee Keith Bryant climbed in the event.
