June 13, 2008
Terri Watkins spent nearly three years working on the Oklahoma City bombing case, including coverage in Denver of the trials of McVeigh and Nichols, as a reporter for KOCO Eyewitness News 5. Today, she shared her experiences with Museum visitors in the Memorial’s First Person – Stories of Hope program. Watkins, who corresponded with McVeigh by mail, also worked with family members and survivors in their successful efforts to change legislation following the bombing.
