First Person - Stories of Hope Features Richard Williams And His Wife

July 10, 2008
On April 19, 1995, Richard Williams, now retired, was
District Manager for the General Services Administration Public Buildings
Service for the state of Oklahoma, and responsible for the Murrah
Building. A survivor of the bombing, Williams was trapped beneath rubble
which had once been his office on the first floor of the Murrah Building. He
was severely injured and spent many months recovering, with help and support from
his wife, Lynne.
Hear about their experiences on Friday, July 11, at 1:30
p.m. in the Memorial’s First Person – Stories of Hope presentation in
the Museum’s Center for Education & Outreach.
