First Person - Stories of Hope Features Cherokee Ballard And Tony Stizza

Tony Stizza shared their experiences covering the bombing with a group of East
Asian journalists participating in a workshop at the Gaylord College of
Journalism and Mass Communication at OU through a State Department grant. Following a tour of the Memorial Museum, the journalists participated in the First
Person – Stories of Hope presentation with Ballard and Stizza, asking
questions and relating some of their own challenges as journalists in countries
where violence is a part of their everyday lives.
First Person – Stories of Hope is presented each
Friday at 1:30 in the Museum through August 29, and by request to groups
visiting the Memorial Museum.
