First Person - Stories of Hope Features First Responder Chris Fields

On Friday, July 25, 2008, District Chief of Support Services Chris Fields shares his experiences with Museum visitors. Chris has been with the Oklahoma City Fire Department since 1985. As a first responder on April 19, 1995, Fields worked the rescue and recovery effort, and is the firefighter pictured holding Baylee Almon in the Pulitzer Prize winning photo.

Fields served 21 years in the Suppression Division before his promotion to District Chief of Support Services in 2006. As District Chief he supervises Fire Dispatch, FMIS, Graphics and Human Resources. Fields retains his HazMat Tech rating and his EMT license.

First Person – Stories of Hope is presented each Friday at 1:30 in the Museum through August 29, and by request to groups visiting the Memorial Museum.
