Girl Scouts Report Their Experience at the Memorial

Girl Scouts in the Western Oklahoma Council toured the Oklahoma City National Memorial and Reporting Terrorism exhibit to fulfill several badge requirements towards earning their Media Savvy badge. The girls also heard from former reporter Tamara Pratt and photojournalist Tony Stizza, who covered the Oklahoma City bombing.

The girls learned how media coverage has changed over the years and then shared ideas of how they envision the future of television, radio, newspapers, and magazines. The girls also shared their thoughts and feelings about their Memorial experience. View their reflections below.
