Memorial Director Shares Lesson in Hope in New York

Oklahoma City National Memorial & Museum Executive Director Kari Watkins shared A Lesson in Hope: The Resilience a City Found in Creating the Oklahoma City National Memorial & Museum with attendees of the Memory and Trauma: The Stakes of a Memorial Museum conference held this weekend in connection with the National September 11 Memorial & Museum at New York University.

Watkins joined panelists from the Memorial Center of Oradour-sur-Glane, Le Memorial de Caen and the National September 11 Memorial & Museum in a frank discussion of the importance of and challenges in creating memorial museums.
