Memorial Provides Backdrop for Centennial Video Shoot

Miss America 2007 and Oklahoman Lauren Nelson uses the Memorial as a backdrop to talk about events held in conjunction with Oklahoma’s Centennial celebration for an upcoming DVD. The Memorial Thank You Concert, An Oklahoma Centennial Project was an official Oklahoma Centennial event and was held as part of the 10th anniversary commemoration of the Oklahoma City bombing. The concert featured Oklahoma artists including Amy Grant, Jimmy Webb, Katrina Elam, Byron Berline, Ty England, Vince Gill, Toby Keith, Joe Diffie and the Centennial Rodeo Opry.

The Memorial hosted several Centennial events including the Memorial's Centennial clock dedication and the temporary exhibit, Lincoln: The Constitution and the Civil War.
