TCU Honor Students Study Memorial as Part of Cultural Memory in the United States Class

October 30, 2008

Texas Christian University honor students studying Cultural Memory in the United States visited the Oklahoma City National Memorial & Museum as part of their class, taught by Dr. Ronald Pitcock. The students are studying ways memory is created and how institutions and historic moments shape memory. While at the Memorial, the students toured the Memorial’s Archives and spoke with Memorial designers Hans and Torrey Butzer, Sara Williams Sweet, a family member, and Amy Petty, a survivor.
