MVP Spotlight — Jenny Crane

November 10, 2008
After the bombing, any time friends or family would come to visit Memorial Volunteer Jenny Crane, they would ask to see the site. Crane would diligently bring them to the site, and always captured in photos the progress of the Memorial while she was here. Crane became a Memorial volunteer after a conversation with a fellow volunteer about the frequency of visits.
“I told her I should just work there because I am down there so often, and she told me I should volunteer. So I did,” said Crane.
During the 2008 Oklahoma City Memorial Marathon Expo, Crane worked several hours every day. Crane also gives many hours to the Archives besides working in the Memorial Museum. She has become a number one trainer of new volunteers and new staff in various Visitor Services positions.
Congratulations, Jenny for being the Memorial's 2008 Outstanding MVP!
