Carolyn Hill: In Her Own Words

December 17, 2008
There are times in your life that you feel like you have really learned from those around you. That is the case with my counterpart at a local downtown museum. Carolyn Hill, the President & C.E.O. of the Oklahoma City Museum of Art, is retiring at the end of the year. Carolyn has always be gracious and helpful as we have both remodeled and turned historic buildings into downtown vibrant museums.
Carolyn leaves behind a terrific museum in great shape to move forward. She has touched many in this city and has made a difference in downtown and in the arts community. As part of her farewell, we felt it was important to capture her story on video so that future generations would understand her passion and get a feel for how she created the Oklahoma City Museum of Art as we see it today. We send our very best to Carolyn and wish her a fun filled and exciting retirement. She has touched thousands of lives and we are grateful she has touched ours.
