Essay Contest Winners Recognized at State Capitol

Winners of the Oklahoma City National Memorial & Museum’s Student Essay Contest were recognized today at the Oklahoma State Capitol. More than 700 entries from 42 states in four grade level categories were judged in this year’s competition. Students are given a topic on which to base their essay. Each topic is designed to challenge students to reflect on their personal experiences and look to the future for ways they can make an impact on the world around them.
