Memorial Museum Carpet Installation Changes Closing Time

Crews from Lippert Bros. Inc, General Contractors, and American Millwork are installing new carpet in the Memorial Museum. Crews are working to install the carpet overnight to cause as little disruption to the Museum operations as possible. The carpet is the final step of restoration following serious water damage to the Museum in January. No artifacts were damaged or lost, but the Museum was closed for 20 days.

In order to keep the Museum open during the carpet installation, the last ticket sold is at 4:00 daily with the Museum closing at 5:00 p.m., except on Sundays when the last ticket is sold at 5:00 and the Museum closes at 6:00.
