Memorial and Museum Fourth of July Programs

The Memorial and Museum will be open daily Fourth of July Weekend. The Outdoor Symbolic Memorial is open 24-hours a day, every day. The Memorial Museum hours for Fourth of July weekend are as follows:

  • Friday, 9 a.m. – 6 p.m. (Last ticket sold at 5 p.m.)
  • Saturday, 9 a.m. – 6 p.m. (Last ticket sold at 5 p.m.)
  • Sunday, 1 - 6 p.m. (Last ticket sold at 5 p.m.)

Memorial Museum admission is $10 for adults, $8 for seniors (62+) and $6 for students (ages 5 – college w/ID)

The Terrace Benches on the Memorial's Outdoor Symbolic Memorial are a great place to view the Red, White and Boom  and Bricktown fireworks displays Friday and Saturday night.

First Person: Stories of Hope

Each Friday this summer, visitors to the Oklahoma City National Memorial Museum will have a unique opportunity to hear from some of the people most affected by the April 19, 1995, bombing of the Alfred P. Murrah Federal Building in Oklahoma City. Join us this Friday, July 3, at 1:30 p.m. inside the Memorial Museum to hear from survivor Laura Oak and her husband, Mark.

Fourth of July Weekend National Park Service Scheduled Talks

National Park Service Interpretive Rangers provide 30-minute scheduled talks daily for visitors to the Outdoor Symbolic Memorial throughout Fourth of July weekend.

  • Friday, July 3, 2 p.m., 6:15 p.m., 8:15 p.m.
  • Saturday, July 4, 10 a.m., 2 p.m., 6:15 p.m., 8:15 p.m.
  • Sunday, July 5, 12:45 p.m., 2 p.m., 6:15 p.m., 8:15 p.m.

Between the Gates of Time explores the meaning of the iconic symbols of the Outdoor Symbolic Memorial, including the Gates of Time, Field of Empty Chairs, Reflecting Pool, Survivor Tree, Children’s Area and Memorial Fence. Visitors leave with a greater understanding of the hope and resilience of this community and this nation.

The Oklahoma City National Memorial & Museum is a private non-profit organization, and does not receive any annual operating funds from the federal, state or local government. Museum admissions, store sales, the Oklahoma City Memorial Marathon, earnings from an endowment and private fundraising allow the Memorial and Museum to be self-sustaining.
