Former First Lady Laura Bush Tours the
Memorial and Museum

Former United States First Lady Laura Bush toured the Memorial and Museum while in Oklahoma City for a speaking engagement. Mrs. Bush first visited Oklahoma City as the First Lady of Texas for a memorial service held to honor the victims of the Oklahoma City bombing five days after the attack. President George W. Bush and Mrs. Bush also dedicated the Memorial Museum when it opened in February 2001. Of the Memorial and Museum, Mrs. Bush said the site is an incredible way to honor those who were killed and to educate students and others about the effects of terrorism.
