First Person: Stories of Hope
Features Dr. Rosslyn Biggs

July 10, 2009

Each Friday this summer, visitors to the Oklahoma City National Memorial Museum will have a unique opportunity to hear from some of the people most affected by the April 19, 1995, bombing of the Alfred P. Murrah Federal Building in Oklahoma City.

Join us this Friday at 1:30 p.m. inside the Memorial Museum.

This Week’s Featured Speaker

Dr. Rosslyn Biggs, daughter of Dr. Margaret L. “Peggy” Clark

Dr. Rosslyn Biggs was attending an FFA judging contest when she was told about the bombing of the Murrah Building, in which her mother, Dr. Margaret L. “Peggy” Clark was killed. A 2004 graduate of Oklahoma State University College of Veterinary Medicine, Biggs also holds a bachelor’s in Agricultural Economics from OSU. She was a mixed animal practitioner in Chickasha, Oklahoma, for nearly three years before joining the United States Department of Agriculture, Animal Plant Health Inspection Service. She currently serves as a Veterinary Medical Officer for the Veterinary Services division in southwest Oklahoma, the same position her mother held at the time of the bombing.

First Person: Stories of Hope presentations are free with paid admission to the Memorial Museum. This program is also available by advanced reservation for groups touring the Memorial and Museum.
