Kansas Mennonite Men's Choir Performs
Under Survivor Tree Canopy

July 21, 2009

One hundred twenty members of the Kansas Mennonite Men’s Choir performed under the Survivor Tree at the Oklahoma City National Memorial. The members are from all over the state of Kansas and are in Oklahoma City attending the Oklahoma Choral Directors Association Conference. When asked why they chose to perform here, a spokesman for the Choir said, “Core values of our faith are Compassion, Peace and Justice and the Oklahoma City National Memorial does a wonderful job of memorializing those values.” The Choir will perform this evening at the First Baptist Church, 1201 North Robinson.
