Field Trips to Memorial and Museum
Make Lasting Impression on Students

August 07, 2009
The Oklahoma City National Memorial & Museum offers an experience to remember for schools wanting a meaningful look at the Oklahoma City bombing and the response of this city and the nation.
"Personal experience is the best learning tool. The Museum is the closest thing to encountering the consequences of this tragic event. The students have an opportunity to admire the heroics, bravery, and responses of ordinary people in a catastrophe," said an educator from Graham Hall Christian School in Muskogee of her students' recent visit.
"It was a moving and memorable experience for my students. It made them aware of a tragic event in our state's history in a way that no classroom experience ever could," said an educator from Yarbrough High School in Goodwell, OK.
