Each Friday this summer, visitors to the Oklahoma City National Memorial Museum will have a unique opportunity to hear from some of the people most affected by the April 19, 1995, bombing of the Alfred P. Murrah Federal Building in Oklahoma City.
Join us this Friday at 1:30 p.m. inside the Memorial Museum.
This Week’s Featured Speaker
Duane Smith, Survivor
Now serving as Executive Director of the Oklahoma Water Resources Board, Duane Smith was Assistant Director on April 19, 1995. His office was in the Oklahoma Water Resources Board Building, which was located just north of the Alfred P. Murrah Federal Building. A graduate of the University of Oklahoma, Smith has comprehensive knowledge in the administration of Oklahoma’s Groundwater and Stream Water Law and the management of state water resources through the water rights and appropriative process.
First Person: Stories of Hope presentations are free with paid admission to the Memorial Museum. This program is also available by advanced reservation for groups touring the Memorial and Museum.
