Did You Know...
The Memorial & Museum Does Not Receive
Federal Funds to Operate?

September 09, 2009

Did you know the Memorial & Museum does not receive any federal funds to own, operate or maintain the 3.3 acre site and 50,000 square foot Museum?

Over the past 14 years, the Combined Federal Campaign (CFC) has played a major role in helping fund our annual operations and has raised almost $300,000 since the Memorial became a part of the campaign in 1996.

Members of the armed services and federal employees across the nation are gearing up for this year’s CFC, and all are encouraged to support the Oklahoma City National Memorial & Museum and our mission with their gifts.

The Memorial’s CFC designation number is 11611.

Remembering is not enough. Education is the cornerstone and foundation of the Oklahoma City National Memorial & Museum. While we use the story of April 19, 1995, as the starting point, our lessons focus forward from that day. We know that today we are teaching tomorrow's adults.

Your gifts through the CFC, or at any time, make a difference and support the Memorial’s commitment to do our part to help guide them to be responsible, resilient and resourceful, and we challenge them to leave this place and go do their part to make this world a better and more peaceful place.
