German Ambassador Makes Visit to Memorial and Museum

German Ambassador Klaus Scharioth, Roland Herrmann, Consulate General of Germany stationed in Houston and Oklahoma City businessman Chuck Wiggin, Honorary Consul for Germany in Oklahoma, visit with Outdoor Symbolic Memorial designer Hans Butzer. Butzer and his wife Torrey designed the Memorial with Sven Berg while living and studying architecture in Berlin, Germany, in 1997. Butzer showed the special guests around the site and discussed the symbolic elements of the design. They later toured the Memorial Museum to learn more details of the bombing and the resilience of this city.
