Catholic War Veterans Induct
Members and Officers Under Survivor Tree

October 09, 2009
A formal dedication, installation and induction of members and officers into Oklahoma’s newest Catholic War Veterans Post, Oklahoma Memorial Post #168, took place under the Survivor Tree on Saturday at 10:30 a.m. Joining the veterans were family member Bud Welch, who lost his daughter in the 1995 bombing, and state representative Scott Inman.
Oklahoma Memorial Post 168 was named in honor of the victims of the Murrah Federal Building bombing in 1995.
"We as veterans of the United States military, thought it would be a way that we could honor the families and the individual’s service, dedication and sacrifice for the citizens of the United States and the state of Oklahoma," said Bob Lambert, Commander.
