Oklahoma City National Memorial & Museum Represented at Combined Federal Campaign

October 15, 2009
"I enjoyed taking part in this year’s Combined Federal Campaign fair. It was a great experience meeting people from other non-profit organizations and seeing what they are accomplishing. We had the opportunity to speak with a number of people about the mission of the Oklahoma City National Memorial & Museum and educate them about the outreach programs that we do. Many people didn’t know that the Memorial doesn’t receive any appropriations from the federal, state, or local governments, and why their contributions to our CFC fund are so important," said Scott Sanders, Oklahoma City National Memorial & Museum Volunteer Coordinator.
If you are a member of the United States Armed Forces or an employee of the federal government, you may also support the Oklahoma City National Memorial & Museum by designating your donation to #11611 during the National Combined Federal Campaign. The Memorial is a member of Human Service Charities of America.
The Oklahoma City National Memorial & Museum does not receive any annual operating funds from the federal, state or local government. Museum admissions, store sales, the OKC Memorial Marathon, earnings from an endowment and private fundraising allow the Memorial and Museum to be self-sustaining.
Since 1999, Federal employee contributions to the Memorial have totaled $295,000 to support our mission of remembrance and education.
