Oklahoma City National Memorial & Museum Honored with Tourism Redbud Award

The Oklahoma City National Memorial & Museum was recognized by the Oklahoma Department of Tourism and Recreation and the Oklahoma Travel Industry Association with a Redbud Award, the highest honor given in Oklahoma’s tourism industry. The Memorial and Museum Visitor Guide won in the Best Brochure or Publication (best booklet 10 pages or less) category, and Marketing the Flood Recovery won a merit award for Best Overall Marketing Campaign.

"Oklahoma is positioning itself as a shining star in the tourism industry – and we thank you for your starring role in making that happen," Oklahoma Lieutenant Governor Jari Askins said, as she presented the awards during the annual ceremony at the Oklahoma Governor’s Conference on Tourism.

The Memorial and Museum congratulates the Oklahoma City Convention & Visitors Bureau on winning two Redbuds and for winning Tourism Organization of the Year.
