Memorial Provides Partner Report at
Oklahoma City School Board Meeting

October 20, 2009
Director of Education & Research Lynne Roller and Education Coordinator Lynne Porter were invited to present an education Partner Report at Monday’s Oklahoma City School Board meeting. The Memorial works with students and educators in Oklahoma City Public schools in a variety of ways – providing workshops for teachers and hosting a General Principals’ Meeting in the fall as well as involving students in Called2Change, the Memorial’s premier education program about the impact of violence and the power to change the world by choosing to do the right thing. Board Chair Angela Monson and Superintendent Karl Springer shared positive comments about the Memorial’s partnership with Oklahoma City schools.
Please watch the following video to hear about Centennial High School teacher Edward Anderson’s experience with Called2Change.
