Fall at the Oklahoma City National
Memorial & Museum

October 23, 2009

The Oklahoma City National Memorial is a place of comfort, strength, peace, hope and serenity — especially this time of year. The symbols of the changing season are more evident than ever in the Rescuers’ Orchard of the Outdoor Symbolic Memorial. The designers told us in 1997 while describing their proposed design that you would always see the "fruits of the rescuers’ labor." As the trees change color and the leaves begin to fall…we are reminded of the words that surround the Survivor Tree, "To those who came from near and far, we offer our eternal gratitude."

The Oklahoma City National Memorial & Museum is owned and operated by the Oklahoma City
National Memorial Foundation.
