Cleveland Elementary Faculty Visits

Educators from Cleveland Elementary School, in Norman, Oklahoma, spent the morning at the Oklahoma City National Memorial & Museum for a unique professional development experience. Principal Ty Bell arranged for his staff to tour the Outdoor Symbolic Memorial and the Museum before participating in a First Person – Stories of Hope program with survivor Amy Petty. She shared the ways in which being buried in rubble and waiting to be rescued changed her perspective on life and what is really important. Cleveland Elementary 5th graders, who are participating in the Called2Change program, will visit the Memorial on April 23, 2010.
