Students in Dr. Victor Youritzin’s Museum Studies class at the University of Oklahoma visited the Oklahoma City National Memorial Museum to learn more about the creation and operation of a museum. Executive Director Kari Watkins shared her insights and experiences related to building and sustaining the Museum as well as the importance of remaining relevant, and answered questions from the students. Watkins discussed the different ways the story is told in the Museum and addressed the role technology plays in museums today. Youritzin brings his students annually in the fall semester.
