Veterans Day Ceremony Honors
Airmen Killed in the Bombing

Major General P. David Gillett, Jr., Commander , Oklahoma City Air Logistics Center, Tinker Air Force Base, and other Tinker senior leaders joined family and friends of Airman 1st Class Cartney J. McRaven and Airman 1st Class LaKesha R. Levy in a special Veterans Day ceremony on the grounds of the Oklahoma City National Memorial.

Major General and Mrs. Gillett placed wreaths on two chairs and presented both families flags that flew over the Memorial during the ceremony. The tribute included the presentation of colors by the Tinker Honor Guard, the singing of the National Anthem, an invocation by Tinker Chaplain (Lt. Col) David Terrinoni, and comments by Gen. Gillett, the playing of taps and the raising, lowering, and folding and presentation of the flags to Corey Levy, II, LaKesha’s son, and Jean Gliedt-Peter and David Koch, Carntney’s parents.
