Three Memorial Trustees Inducted Into
Oklahoma Hall of Fame Tonight

November 12, 2009
Three Trustees and exceptional volunteers and public servants will be honored tonight with Oklahoma’s highest honor, induction into the Oklahoma Hall of Fame. They will join four other Oklahomans with the 2009 placement in the Hall of Fame. This annual honor is given to Oklahomans who are known for their public service throughout the state.
Burns Hargis, Polly Nichols and Justice Steven W. Taylor will be presented the honor tonight. Hargis and Nichols are both past Chairs of the Memorial Foundation Board of Trustees. Nichols is also a survivor of the bombing and lost her cousin. Justice Taylor served as the District Judge for the state trial of Terry Nichols, one of the perpetrators of the 1995 bombing of the Alfred P. Murrah Federal Building. He will serve as the Foundation Treasurer in 2010.
