End of Year Giving: Help us Share Our Lessons of
Respect, Resilience and Responsibility

December 28, 2009
Please make your year-end gift today and please give as generously as you can to ensure our life-changing lessons of Respect, Resilience and Responsibility are shared with this generation and future generations. With your gift you become a guardian of the Memorial, impact countless lives and share hope with the world.
The generosity of our supporters allows us to expand our reach, fulfill our mission and gives us much to be thankful for from 2009, including
- Our education programs touched the hearts and minds of more children and adults than ever
- Each of the 168 chairs in the Field of Empty Chairs was re-lighted with LED bulbs, rewired and hand-washed
- The Museum was closed only 20 days after sustaining significant water damage in January
- The Memorial Marathon broke records with 19,300 participants
- More than 310,000 people from around the world have experienced the Memorial and Museum since January
As we approach the 15th anniversary of the bombing, we find ourselves with exciting opportunities. Making enhancements to the Museum and ensuring the beauty of the Memorial will provide a more meaningful experience to each visitor and impact more than 65,000 students through our education programs here and across the nation. Thank you for your guardianship and we hope the holidays bring you and yours great joy and many blessings!
