MVP Spotlight...
Donna Kingry

January 08, 2010
Since the beginning of the Memorial Volunteer Program in 2001, Donna Kingry has been an Oklahoma ambassador to our visitors.
In her own words . . .
"I was in Wichita, Kansas, on the morning of April 19, 1995. I was getting my things together so I could head back home. Instead, I got a call from a friend at approximately 9:05 a.m. and the first thing she told me was my husband, Larry Kingry, was okay. Larry was a Secret Service Agent and worked on the ninth floor of the Murrah Building. He had a call from the U.S. Attorney's Office around 9:00 a. m. and left to go to the Court House across the street. Everyone in his office was killed. I started volunteering the first week the Memorial Museum opened. I feel this is one way I can honor those that were lost. I've made many new friends here at the Memorial that I would not know otherwise. I enjoy meeting and visiting with visitors from all over the world."
