Trinity School Recognized as Highest Participation Percentage in 2009 Memorial Kids Marathon

Ryan Free, representing the The Oklahoman, presenting sponsor for the Memorial Kids Marathon, and Kevin Ogle from media sponsor KFOR-DT NewsChannel 4, helped congratulate the students and faculty of Trinity School in Oklahoma City for achieving the highest participation percentage in the 2009 Oklahoma City Memorial Kids Marathon! Trinity School boasted an overwhelming 90% of their student body who ran in last year's event. Each student logged 25 miles prior to the race and completed the last 1.2 miles with thousands of other children on race day to complete the full 26.2 marathon distance. For their accomplishment, Trinity School received a check for $500 to support their physical education program as well as a traveling trophy.
