The Education Summit offers a variety of presentations by first responders, bombing survivors and family members, the Highway Patrol trooper who arrested Timothy McVeigh and other experts involved with the trials. In addition, demonstrations of resources available at no charge to assist with teaching about the impact of violence and terrorism, the senselessness of using violence to solve problems, the importance of personal responsibility and finding hope from tragedy are scheduled.

"It was a wonderful experience. I learned so much; laughed and cried. It definitely sparked a desire in me to bring my class for a field trip next year (which I had never even considered before). The other teachers from my school that attended felt the same way. Excellent summit! Thank you so much for everything." |
For more information and to apply, click here. The deadline to register is Friday, March 5, 2010.
The Education Summit is made possible in part through the generous support of The Kerr Foundation, Inc., and AT&T Oklahoma.
