Sperry High School Students Develop Lessons to Share

January 27, 2010
Sperry High School National Honor Society members visited the Memorial and Museum today with the assignment of preparing a mini-lesson to share with elementary students. Library/Media Specialist Debby Newman explained that each student will look for a different aspect of the story to develop into a lesson topic that will be meaningful to elementary students in grades 1 through 5, and will present the lesson in an elementary classroom. In addition to touring the Outdoor Symbolic Memorial and the Museum, students experienced a First Person program with FBI Special Agent Bomb Technician Barry Black.
